In the corner of his eye ran Carlos. His best friend. Doing what he had always been trained to do since preschool, Raymond dribbled the soccer ball skillfully, faked move and passed the ball to his friend. Running towards Carlos, he evaded his opponent to join Carlos. Carlos was dribbling the ball towards the goal.
Carlos! Now!
Carlos spun around with the ball and passed it to Raymond. Raymond jumped into the air cursing at the ball for being too high. He craned his neck upwards and smashed it down into the goal. Yes!

Chapter 1Chapter 1 Sweating furiously, Raymond awoke from a strange dream. He could remember it was strange and confusing, but he couldnt quite catch the details. Lifting up his head, Raymond noticed the heap of blankets on the floor. They had started on his bed last night. Ever since that dream, hed been waking up with a twisted mind complete with frozen skin. Yawning like a lion after a meal, he swung his legs onto the floor. The morning was chilly. Frost clung to the windows and snow drifted from the sky like white confetti. Shivering, Raymond rubbed his eyes and heaved the mass of blankets from the ground to the bed. His waChapter 1


ProloguePrologue The road was empty. A cold gust of wind blew; making an empty can of soda skitter noisily across the road. This was 57th Street- a dark, gloomy phantom in the night. To the right was and abandoned laundry shop to of no ones concern. To the left was a dark restaurant. Its peeled red paint gave it an old look. A crooked sign stood beside the entrance. The faded letters were hard to read, but it was still legible. It said, Zhaos Chinese Restaurant. Two statue serpent dragons lay curled up at the front door.
